Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the HairStyle app (“Hair Style Changer - AI Try On”) for iPhone and iPad. By downloading or using the app you agree to them.
What HairStyle is
HairStyle shows a new haircut or hair colour on your selfie with a machine learning model. The model is instructed to change only the hair and to keep your face exactly as it is. A result is a generated image, not a photograph, and it is a preview: a real haircut or colour can look different. Talk to your stylist before you change your hair.
Whose photo
Use a selfie of yourself, or of someone who has agreed to it, showing one person with their hair visible. HairStyle is for people aged 13 and over; the app refuses a photo of a person who appears to be under 13, and nothing is made from it. Do not submit photos of other people without their agreement, photos meant to impersonate someone, or anything unlawful. We may refuse to process any image.
Free looks
Your first look is free. After that, without a subscription, you can make one look free each day (UTC). A look that fails, is refused, or does not pass our likeness check twice is never counted. “Not me?” makes the same look again, once, within 24 hours, at no cost.
Premium
HairStyle Premium is an auto-renewing subscription sold by Apple, weekly or yearly. It includes up to 40 looks and 10 HD looks in any seven days. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period. You can manage or cancel it at any time in your App Store account settings. There is no free trial. Refunds are handled by Apple.
Fair use
To keep free looks available to everyone, the service limits how many looks can be started per day, per network address and in total. A request refused by these limits is never counted.
Your looks
Your selfie and the looks made from it are yours, for personal use. They are generated by a model and may resemble images generated for other people.
Acceptable use
HairStyle is licensed to you for personal use on Apple devices you own or control, under Apple's standard licensed-application terms. Do not make automated requests to the service outside the app.
No warranty
HairStyle is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of the app or of its looks.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app evolves. The date above shows the current version.
